Save the lakes because it’s new, looks nice, and highlight invasives. My personal favorite is the "Preserve Candlewood" plate, although I did not list it in the poll since it's rather specific. I’ve never seen that plate out in the wild, although I live 5 min from the lake.

Jun 25, 2024 · Has anyone else ordered vanity plates from the DMV recently? I put my order in on May 3rd expecting to wait 6-8 weeks, however they cancelled my current registration on June 22nd and my new plates and registration haven’t arrived yet.

Apr 21, 2016 · I noticed the lack of quick vanity lookup a while ago and was wondering if you could eventually get the info again going through the route you mentioned. I think the stamps for the O and 0 are the same, so that makes sense, but on the police side of things, they are certainly not interchangeable.

Dec 13, 2023 · Vanity plates question. There's a vanity plate I'd really like to grab that's a reference, but someone in CT had already registered the plates. The DMV license plate lookup says the registration for the plates was cancelled in 2022, but it also says their registration doesn't expire until 2024.

Jun 1, 2023 · My parents had vanity plates since the 1970’s. My mothers name was Sandra, my fathers name was Albert so their plates were SAN•AL. Well when they changed from the dark blue/white color scheme to the newer ones in the 90’s they sent us S•ANAL, with the dot in the wrong place by mistake!

Call the special plates number on the application. It’s a very small office. I had a Whaler’s plate take 7 weeks and after calling them it was resolved in 2 days. I ordered mine April 4th and got them May 24th. We’re creeping on 2 months. I’m on ~ week 5, been refreshing reg status lookup.

Jun 18, 2022 · If you’re purchasing from a dealership, they’ll handle all of the DMV stuff for you right there. Just let them know that you want to keep the same plates. Don’t leave your old plates on the car you’re selling. Follow the directions on CTDMV site, i just did it. You'll have to schedule an appointment at DMV.
