A week ago, a night like tonight would’ve ended in plain frustration for the Yankees. After seven innings of getting no-hit by Bryan Woo, the offense looked listless and the pitching staff had allowed a small deficit to bloom into a solid five-run gap. At best, avoiding the shutout would’ve been the most promising result to hope for.
