Investigators believe he was burglarizing the residence July 10 while the couple was away and shot them when they suddenly returned.

An “American Idol” music supervisor and her husband were both found dead in their Los Angeles home Monday afternoon.

Police were first alerted by a resident who hadn't heard from Kaye and Deluca for several days, and found the bodies on Monday.
