Cities North of the river avoided major storm damage after heavy rainfall Wednesday evening and early Thursday.

Kansas Task Force 1 arrived in Kerrville Sunday night. By Monday morning, they were searching for bodies in areas devastated by floodwaters.

First responders are working to remove a semi-truck in northern Kansas on Thursday that has rolled onto its side and is blocking traffic. Marshall County Emergency Management shared on social media the truck is blocking part of Highway 77 about eight miles north of Marysville.
