Longtime comedy exec Suzanna Makkos has exited Max to join ABC Entertainment and Hulu Originals as head of comedy. Makkos will report to Simran Sethi, the president of scripted programming for Hulu Originals,

Makkos, who previously served as HBO Max and Adult Swim’s head of original comedy and animation, will spearhead original comedy series across both ABC and Hulu, the Disney-owned networks announced Thursday. She will report to Simran Sethi, who serves as president of scripted programming across Hulu Originals, ABC Entertainment and Freeform.

Suzanna Makkos is leaving as head of Comedy & Animation at Max & Adult Swim to join Disney as head of comedy for ABC Entertainment & Hulu Originals.

The former Max and Fox executive will oversee scripted shows, animation and stand-up specials for the Disney outlets.
