Shota Imanaga struck out Aaron Judge twice while pitching seven sparkling innings, leading the Chicago Cubs to a 4-1 victory over the New York Yankees.

Yankees star Aaron Judge became the fastest MLB player to hit 350 home runs, reaching the mark in his 1,088th game on Saturday.

With a 4-1 triumph Sunday against the Yankees, the Cubs improved their record to 57-39, the second-best mark in the National League to the Dodgers’ 58-39. The NL Central race remains tight, with the Brewers trailing the Cubs by one game.

The Yankees stumbled into the All-Star break with a second straight loss to the Cubs, this one 4-1, on Sunday in The Bronx.

The Chicago Cubs, who haven’t lost more than three consecutive games this year, believe their best play remains ahead of them.
