Dragon Ball Daima is full of callbacks to characters and events in past series, and its latest one is paying homage to Frieza's Ginyu Force.

The Ginyu Force aren't especially important in the grand scheme of Dragon Ball. They contribute little overall to DBZ, Captain Ginyu's return in Dragon Ball Super was equally irrelevant, and they have little in the way of distinct personalities from each other.

Dragon Ball Daima hasn’t just been taking the chance to reveal new lore surrounding the likes of the Namekian race and the Supreme Kais, the anime series has been introducing more new characters to the shonen franchise than we can shake a stick at.

Dragon Ball Daima has seemingly had its finale date revealed, and it confirms that the season will be 20 episodes in total. This makes it the shortest show in the anime series to date by a long way. Per Comic Book Reporter,
