A two-story Amex Centurion Lounge is opening at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in 2027, featuring a rooftop bar and other premium amenities.

Hundreds of flights at Logan International Airport were delayed Saturday due to snow and ice. A Massport spokesperson confirmed Saturday evening that the airport was operating a ground delay program due to the weather.

Serving the American region of New England, predominantly Massachutses, Boston Airport will welcome a brand new American Express Centurion Lounge in Terminal C by 2027. The lounge, which is just another part of a range of upgrades taking place at the airport, will see a 20,000-square-foot dedicated space for those eligible.

The 20,000-square-foot, two-story space will be located in Terminal C, with amenities including a rooftop bar, a green roof, and Logan’s first outdoor patio.

With travel hitting a record high last year, Massport is moving ahead with a new garage that will add some 5,000 parking spaces to the airport.

Cathay Pacific flight CX811 from Boston to Hong Kong made a "precautionary flight return to Logan International Airport in accordance with standard procedures" shortly after takeoff, the airline said.
