Rajkummar Rao's Maalik has managed to surpass the opening weekend sales of Emergency and 10 other Bollywood films - BMS report.

The weekend ranks as the third biggest ever for a DC film, behind Batman v Superman and Aquaman. In terms of the pure Friday-Saturday-Sunday frame, Superman actually tops the list.
