Barely a week into her tenure as Washington, DC’s top federal prosecutor, Jeanine Pirro faced an urgent test – overseeing the investigation into the murders of two Israeli embassy staffers outside the city’s Jewish museum.

Slain staffer Yaron Lischinsky had purchased an engagement ring and was planning to propose to his colleague Sarah Milgrim.

Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, who worked for the Israeli Embassy, were identified as the victims of a shooting outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C.

The two embassy employees were killed by a gunman Wednesday night after an event at the Capital Jewish Museum.
