Kilmar Abrego Garcia says he suffered severe beatings, severe sleep deprivation and psychological torture in the notorious El Salvador prison the Trump administration deported him to in March, according to court documents filed Wednesday.

At the notorious CECOT prison, he was forced to frog-march, had to kneel from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and was subjected to beatings and threats, his lawyers said Wednesday.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was allegedly beaten and psychologically tortured during his time at CECOT, according to new court filings – reigniting a closely watched case playing out in two U.S. courts.
