Savannah Guthrie's new co-anchor for the Today Show has been named ahead of Hoda Kotb's imminent departure from the show.

It was announced on Thursday morning that the anchor, 45, would be taking over from long-serving presenter Hoda Kotb , 60, after her last episode on January 10.
