After 25 years and a behind-the-scenes battle with Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Smith is working with the company that bought 'Dogma' from Miramax.

Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding ceremony, which they held after eloping in Las Vegas on July 17, 2022. Affleck was previously married to actress Jennifer Garner for 10 years, from 2005 until 2015. They co-parent their three children: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

Kevin Smith has confirmed he's working on a sequel to 'Dogma'. The 54-year-old filmmaker wrote and directed the 1999 fantasy comedy film starring Ben Affleck, 52, as Bartleby and Matt Damon, 54, as Loki and he is hoping the pair will appear in the new movie.

As Smith explained, he’s made three different offers to buy the rights to Dogma off the Weinsteins — first for $250,000, then $500,000, then a cool mil. Smith sent his offer to “a convicted rapist,” as he put it,
