Upon scoring the goal, Nedeljkovic leaped into the Penguins’ bench, where he was mobbed by his teammates.

Alex Nedeljkovic may not have gotten a Gordie Howe hat trick on Friday in Buffalo, just missing the fight portion. But his unique accomplishment that night should perhaps be named after him moving forward.

The Tristan Jarry era in Pittsburgh isn’t over just yet. Jarry, the 29-year-old goalie, cleared waivers and can now be sent to the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Pittsburgh’s AHL affiliate, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman and others reported on Thursday.
