Riley Kugel scored a season-high 21 points, including two free throws with 11 seconds remaining in overtime, and No. 15 Mississippi State knocked off No. 21 Mississippi 84-81.

The Rebels fell behind 14-2 early on Saturday, and much of the first half seemed to be in Mississippi State's favor. Mississippi State football linebacker Branden Jennings was arrested Thursday on a felony charge of failure to stop, according to a booking log from the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Office. The arrest was made by Mississippi State University police.
