According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers run game coordinator/defensive line coach Kacy Rodgers is expected to become the next defensive line coach for the Lions. If you're looking for somebody to directly address a couple of the D-line's biggest issues from this past season, then it's hard to do better than Rodgers.
But the Detroit Lions ended the week with about as good news as possible. NFL Network reports offensive line coach Hank Fraley will stay in Detroit. Fraley, who had two interviews with the Seattle Seahawks for their offensive coordinator position, will add run game coordinator to his title for the Lions.
