Jimmy Butler reportedly left shootaround early after he was told he was not going to start ahead of Monday's game.

Butler apparently walked out of shootaround Monday morning after learning the team wasn't going to start him in their game against the Orlando Magic, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. Haywood Highsmith will start in his place. Butler was set to return to the team Monday after serving a two-game suspension.

The Miami Heat are suspending guard Jimmy Butler indefinitely, Shams Charania of ESPN reported Monday. The Heat previously suspended him seven games for conduct the team deemed detrimental followed by a two-game suspension for missing a team flight to Milwaukee last week. His latest suspension is for at least the next five games.

The Dunk Contest will be part of All-Star Saturday Night, Feb. 15 at the Chase Center in San Francisco (home to the Golden State Warriors). The entire evening will be broadcast on TNT, including the 3-point contest and a reported return (and expansion) of the Stephen Curry/Sabrina Ionescu shootout.

Shams Charania of ESPN first reported on Monday afternoon that McClung would join San Antonio’s Stephon Castle, Matas Buzelis of Chicago and Milwaukee’s Andre Jackson Jr. in the event.
