A man has been arrested after a 7-year-old girl was accidentally shot and killed by her sibling Thursday morning in Kannapolis, authorities said.

Burris, 33, was arrested and charged with felony child abuse inflicting serious injury, storing a firearm in a manner accessible to a minor, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is being held with a $25,000 bond in Cabarrus County jail. His next court date is Jan. 24.
