NORMAL — The Illinois State women’s basketball team strengthened its bid for a top four finish in the Missouri Valley Conference on Sunday with a decisive 74-58 victory over Bradley at CEFCU Arena.
PEORIA – Bradley’s sixth consecutive win over Illinois State took the form of a 61-57 Braves’ victory Saturday at Carver Arena. Before a thoroughly engaged crowd of 9,646, Bradley moved to 10-1 at home, 18-3 overall and 9-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference. It was ISU’s third straight defeat in Peoria by four or less points.

Led by eight points from Hannah before the break, Bradley entered halftime tied with Belmont 43-43. Bradley took a nine-point lead in the second half thanks to a 9-0 scoring run. Davis led the Braves in second-half scoring with 14 points.
