Travelers will soon be able to fly nonstop between Bradley International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport. The new connection was announced by JetBlue and Bradley officials Wednesday.

Starting this spring, a daily JetBlue flight out of Bradley International Airport will connect the Hartford area to John F. Kennedy in New York City.

The new service connects the T.F. Green with JFK International Airport for the first time in more than 15 years.

WARWICK − Starting May 1, JetBlue Airways will offer daily flights to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport from Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport, the airline announced Wednesday. One flight will go to New York every morning and return every evening, with fares starting at $49 for the roughly one-hour flight.

Flights from the airport in Windsor Locks to John F. Kennedy International Airport will begin on April 30. They will operate daily, year-round.

JetBlue announced Wednesday that the airline is launching a new daily nonstop service from T.F. Green to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York.
