The Athletic and CBS Sports are reporting that Miami’s NIL collective will pay Beck between $3-4 million, which is double the $1.6 million that Cam Ward reportedly was paid for the 2024 season. Beck’s NIL representative didn’t go into specifics, but told CBS Sports that Miami was the right market for Beck.

According to ESPN's Tom Luginbill, Beck's move to Miami is considered the fifth-best fit among transfer quarterbacks at their new destinations. Beck is slated to join a Hurricanes offense that finished No. 1 in scoring offense (43.9 points per game) and No. 1 total offense (537.2 yards per game) under coordinator Shannon Dawson.
