A woman from Hawaii is missing after her family says she didn’t make her connecting flight in Los Angeles at LAX more than 10 days ago.

"Hannah’s last message to us was alarming — she mentioned feeling scared, and that someone might be trying to steal her money and identity," family member Larie Pidgeon wrote on Facebook on Nov. 14. "She hasn’t been heard from since, and we are gravely concerned for her safety.”

Hannah Kobayashi, 31, vanished while on her way to a "bucket list" vacation in New York City. Her phone last pinged at LAX on Nov. 11, which is the last time her family heard from her.

A search was continuing Monday for a 31-year-old woman who disappeared after landing at Los Angeles International Airport, where she had missed her connecting flight. According to her family, Hannah Kobayashi was traveling to New York City to visit family when she disappeared.
