Princess Kate reportedly left the UK to enjoy a ski holiday during the New Year period, alongside Prince William and their three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine and Prince Louis,

Catherine, Princess of Wales, confirmed Tuesday that her cancer is in remission during a visit with the staff and patients of the Royal Marsden in Chelsea.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, announced her cancer is now in remission on Jan. 14. "It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal," the former Kate Middleton said in a statement posted on Instagram.

Kate Middleton, who is celebrating her 43rd birthday on Jan. 9, has proven herself to be the shiniest jewel of the British monarchy. The princess is married to Prince William, heir to the throne.

It is hard for the royal family members to do the normal everyday things that commoners do, especially if you are Kate Middleton or her husband, Prince William. Kate is always in the public eye, especially in the year since her abdominal surgery turned into preventative cancer treatments and her eventual cancer remission.

Princess Kate returned to The Royal Marsden, where she underwent chemortherapy, and while she was there she made a startling remark, it's being reported.
