Even people who didn’t read spoilers on the first ‘Golden Bachelorette’ season probably weren’t surprised to see how the final episode ended on Wednesday.

It’s official. Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos is engaged to Chock Chapple. For weeks, it’s been clear to fans Joan’s final pick would be Chock. But it wasn’t so obvious to one person: Guy Gansert, who Joan sent home prematurely during the final episode in light of a “connection” with Chock.

According to spoiler guru, podcaster, and blogger Reality Steve via Instagram on September 18, Vassos picked Chock Chapple over Guy Gansert. Reality Steve has since also reported that Vassos and Chapple got engaged, and are still together.
