CINCINNATI — The Bengals red-hot offense continued to soar starting out Sunday's game against the Steelers. Cincinnati scored on their opening drive of the game with a nice 28-yard TD catch by Tee Higgins. Cincinnati will need its defense to show a pulse at some point but Joe Flacco and the offense are keeping them in the fight this season.

By multiple measures, this has not been a great season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. But where it matters most, they continue to do just fine.

The Cincinnati Bengals' plan to have Joe Flacco keep them competitive until Joe Burrow can return from toe surgery has hit a major snag.

Steelers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers is being evaluated for a wrist injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. His backup is Mason Rudolph, the franchise hero who saved the team's 2023 season with a 3-0 stint to close out the regular season and take the Steelers to the wild-card round.
