Amazon has launched a new outlet called Haul which caps the price of products on sale at $20 (£15.79), in an effort to take on low-cost retailers Temu and Shein. The online shopping giant unveiled Haul as a mobile-only experience available in its Shopping app for US customers on Wednesday.

In the same year, Shein secured over $14 billion in sales in the U.S., according to EcommerceDB (ECDB). To put this into perspective, Shein surpassed both Walmart.com and Amazon.com, which had sales between $9 and $12 billion,

And now, Amazon is getting in on the action. This week, the retail giant announced the launch of Amazon Haul, a new section set to rival competitors like Temu and Shein, dedicated to affordable, trending items.

Amazon Haul, the company's answer to Temu and Shein, is currently only available to U.S. shoppers using the Amazon Shopping app.
