Stunning footage has been released of Niagara Falls covered in snow and ice after a period of extreme cold weather. Despite appearances, the water hasn't fully frozen. It continues to move beneath the sheet of ice.

Extreme cold has blanketed Niagara Falls in heavy snow and ice. Footage from Tuesday (January 28), captured on the New York side, shows thick ice and snow surrounding the iconic landmark.
