Some new releases heading into the weekend are Apple TV's thriller "Severance," new Netflix movie "Back in Action" and J Lo's new movie "Unstoppable."

Yet another Hollywood icon, with no need of introduction. Christopher Walken plays Burt in Severance. He won an Oscar for his role in The Deer Hunter, while he was also in Dune: Part Two just last year.

Apple is using the Adam Scott thriller to try and drive new subscribers to its streaming service, following a number of moves to get its programming in front of those who may mot have sampled it.
