Former UMass quarterback Liam Coen is one step closer to becoming an NFL head coach. On Wednesday, the Jacksonville Jaguars officially announced that they had interviewed Coen for the head coach position. Jacksonville’s job opened up after the team fired Doug Pederson on Jan. 6.

Even though he was wearing a sling on his left arm, Trevor Lawrence was able to point plenty of fingers — most of them at himself.

Lawrence is set to have his third head coach in five seasons in the NFL. From Urban Meyer, to Pederson, to whoever is hired this offseason, there’s been a lack of stability to start his career. Lawrence will also have his fifth play-caller coming in since joining the league. It’s been a bit of an up-and-down journey with each.
