One man has died, and two others are hurt after an apparent attempted robbery escalated into a shooting overnight in Glendale.

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A woman has died after crashing into two construction vehicles overnight in Glendale.

A crash that involved three vehicles left one person dead on the westbound Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway near Glendale early on Monday morning.

Around 10:30 p.m., Glendale police received multiple 911 calls about a shooting in the area of 69th Avenue and Butler Drive, near 67th and Northern avenues.
