After operating with a short-handed rotation for much of the season, starting pitching is a natural need for the Blue Jays as the deadline approaches. George Springer was on third when Guerrero took off for second. Catcher Shea Langeliers threw to second and shortstop Max Muncy caught the ball in front of the bag and threw home. Muncy one-hopped the throw and Langeliers wasn't able to glove it as Springer scored.
