Arsenal score four goals in the second half as they thump Aston Villa to end the year five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Arsenal have been dealt another devastating injury blow as midfielder Declan Rice is expected to miss Tuesday's Premier League title showdown with Aston Villa at the Emirates. The England international had been hopeful of playing in the crunch clash against Unai Emery's high-flying side but is set to miss out after sustaining a knee problem against Brighton last time out.

Arsenal were once again wasteful with their scoring chances but managed to eek out a 2-1 victory over Brighton at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, to send themselves back to the top of the Premier League table.
