Snow has fallen across parts of Wales for the first time this winter. In Gwynedd, Conwy and Wrexham, locals captured snowy scenes on the road and in the countryside. Snow started falling across parts of the UK on Monday night in what the Met Office called the country’s "first taste of winter".

Some schools have been closed after snow fell overnight in parts of Wales. There is a yellow warning in place for snow and ice for parts of north Wales on Tuesday morning.
