President Trump granted another pardon on Monday for a former official he claimed was the victim of a “weaponized” Justice Department (DOJ) during the Biden administration, granting clemency to former Sheriff Scott Jenkins.
When Jenkins was sentenced to 10 years in prison in March, the acting U.S. attorney for the Western District of Virginia said he "violated his oath of office and the faith the citizens of Culpeper County placed in him when he engaged in a cash-for-badges scheme.

Former Culpeper County, Virginia, sheriff Scott Jenkins was expected in federal prison on Tuesday but will no longer head there, after a Memorial Day pardon by President Donald Trump.
