New Roma coach Claudio Ranieri says that the Giallorossi were one of only two clubs that could persuade him to return to management.

Claudio Ranieri has been appointed as the new head coach of Roma. The Athletic reported earlier this week that Ranieri was in talks to take over at the Serie A side, having previously announced his retirement from coaching after steering Cagliari to safety at the end of last season.

Claudio Ranieri discussed the challenges that await him in this new spell as manager of Roma. After three days of training and the first press conference, the new Roma coach treated himself to a gala evening.
