Earl Albert, of West Stockbridge, Mass., is currently recovering in a hospital in Albany, NY, after his health recently took a turn -- just weeks out from the Dec. 4 lighting of his beloved tree.

For the first time since 1959, this year's Rockefeller Center tree comes from Massachusetts - West Stockbridge, to be exact. It was a donation from Michael Albert and his family, who are residents of the town. As of this morning (Nov. 12), the tree was set into position, where it will soon be decorated for the holiday season.
