Apple TV+ series "The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin," which stars Noel Fielding as the infamous highway bandit, has shut down in the middle of shooting Season 2, Variety has confirmed.

The second season of Apple TV+’s comedy series The Completely Made-Up Adventures Of Dick Turpin has been scrapped after star Noel Fielding “failed to come to work” following the Christmas break.

Deadline has since reported that star Noel Fielding, who played the titular character, pulled out of the shoot three-quarters of the way through, and that production company Big Talk Studios has disbanded the cast and crew. RadioTimes.com has reached out to Apple TV+ and to Fielding's representatives for comment.

Noel Fielding 's Apple TV+ show The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin has been cancelled mid-way through filming, with the cast and crew reportedly told that it was down to "the illness of a key cast member". Deadline have reported that Noel pulled out of filming.

Noel is also due to film another season of Sky Max’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks later this year. Metro has contacted Apple TV Plus and representatives for Noel Fielding for comment. The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin is streaming on Apple TV Plus.
