Arguably the most popular athlete to play in Los Angeles, the Dodgers are commemorating late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant with a bobblehead giveaway on Friday, Aug. 8, when they host the Toronto Blue Jays.
Bryant was an avid Dodgers fan and often attended home games at Dodger Stadium. The team also gave away custom Bryant jerseys last season that featured his No. 8 on the front and his No. 24 on the back. It had a "KB" patch on the sleeve and a snake in recognition of his Black Mamba nickname.
Kobe Bryant loved the Los Angeles Dodgers and so does his family. Now, the team announced it’s giving fans a special Kobe giveaway to honor the late Los Angeles Lakers legend coming up in August. The Dodgers controlling owner Mark Walter now owns the Lakers as well,
