Right-handed pitcher Carlos Estevez has been added to the roster, the Royals announced Friday. Estevez will join Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and left-handed pitcher Kris Bubic in Atlanta on July 15 for the game. This is Estevez's second All-Star selection, previously earning the honor in 2023 while playing with the Los Angeles Angels.

Rooker was acquired by Kansas City from the San Diego Padres in August of 2022 in exchange for catcher Cam Gallagher, and was quickly added to the Royals roster. He received 25 at-bats on a team that finished 65-97, batting .160 with a .276 OBP in the process, before being optioned back to Triple-A on September 9.
