The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Brevard County and flood warnings and watches across the state.

By Wednesday, there is a decent chance it moves west into the northeastern Gulf. The National Hurricane Center still gives it a medium 40% chance of developing into either a tropical depression or storm as it moves north.

Tropical Wave Invest 93L Prompts Flood Warnings in Central Florida with 7+ inches of Rain

The National Hurricane Center has designated the low pressure off the Central Florida east coast as Invest 93L.

The area of low pressure was just offshore the coast of Florida on July 15 and was becoming better organised, forecasters said.

The National Hurricane Center is now highlighting a large area to watch near Florida and along the northern Gulf Coast. To help them nail down the forecast, they have designated the system as Invest 93L.
