The search for the two young girls who were taken by their father following a homicide have been located and found safe, deputies said. An Amber Alert was issued for a man suspected of killing a woman and abducting two girls in Hanford in Central California.

Two children, Alana and Arya Maldonado, who were abducted from Hanford, have been found safe, and their father, Jonathan Maldonado-Cruz, has been taken into custody.
