After President Trump federalized California National Guard troops in response to anti-ICE riots in LA, Gov. Gavin Newsom told reporters, “It’s about time Donald Trump grow up."

The troops were assigned to guard federal buildings and support immigration agents during protests against enforcement tactics.

Newsom accused the Trump administration of federal overreach and racial profiling, contributing to fear and economic downturn in immigrant-heavy neighborhoods.
