The Sixers have been unable to see much of Edgecombe in this summer league. He played in the opener in Salt Lake City on July 5 before he missed the final two games in Utah and the first two in Vegas due to a left thumb sprain. In the two games he has played, he has had some impressive moments.

Philadelphia 76ers rookie guard VJ Edgecombe edged out Dallas Mavericks rookie forward Cooper Flagg at halftime in NBA Summer League.

VJ Edgecombe was scoreless in the first half but dropped 15 points and stuffed the stat sheet in the second half to lead the Sixers over the Wizards in Vegas.

VJ Edgecombe, Adem Bona and Justin Edwards all sat out for the Summer Sixers on Wednesday night. That gave Johni Broome plenty of opportunity.

Johni Broome had his finest summer league performance and Villanova product Mark Armstrong redeemed himself as the Sixers took down the Mavs in Vegas.
