Charli XCX spent a brief moment in Peoria this year. Now she is pulling double duty this weekend during the 50th season of "Saturday Night Live."

The pop star is making her hosting debut this weekend on the NBC sketch comedy show, and she'll also be the musical guest.

In her second promo video for her stint as his weekend’s Saturday Night Live host, Charli xcx banters with cast member Marcello Hernández about a variety of topics, including what the “xcx” means, how Hernández’s outfit rates on the “Brat” scale and an evaluation of his physical stature.

It is obviously a huge thing for Charli XCX and her career that she is on double SNL duty this weekend – hosting AND the musical guest. Not many people have the charisma or star power for both, but she does. And as a lifelong massive fan of Charli since True Romance days, nobody is happier for her getting this exposure than me.
